Energy Savings Program for Farm Homes and Ag Businesses

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County hosted a free Zoom workshop on Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30p.m. This virtual session was geared towards agricultural landowners to help identify ways of reducing energy costs for residential homes and farm businesses. Topics that were discussed included identifying energy efficiency improvements to help reduce utility bills, learning how to request free energy assessments, and identifying grant & loan opportunities to help offset the cost of energy improvements.

Guest speakers were Gabriel Gurley, Ag Energy NY Program Manager for CCE Tomkins County, Jordan Miller, EnSave Inc. contractor for NYSERDA, and Lindsay Speer, Senior Energy Planner for CNY Regional Planning & Development Board.
