Healthy Families Lead Specialist
This position will serve as the Healthy Families Lead Specialist for Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Oswego County. The Healthy Families Lead Specialist will receive screening documentation, contact families to begin engagement, conduct home visits to perform the Family Resilience and Opportunities for Growth Scale (F.R.O.G. Scale) and provide initial referrals for all prospective families. This position will provide initial education to families on topics including, but not limited to: prenatal/postnatal care, child safety, available resources, etc. This position will conduct case conferences with Family Support Specialists to review family strengths, stressors, and needs and will track performance indicators for home visiting staff and work with them and the Program Manager to develop strategies for creative outreach. This position will assist the Program Manager with marketing efforts for the program and will provide supervision to assigned staff in the program. For more information and to apply, please go to:

Agriculture Economic Development Specialist
This position will serve as the Agriculture Economic Development Specialist for Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Oswego County and will implement Agriculture educational programming for a menu of existing Agriculture programs that will enhance the economic viability and sustainability of agriculture and agricultural-related businesses in Oswego County in accordance with established program parameters. Program topics will include, but not be limited to: agricultural marketing, business development, agri-tourism, public relations, product diversification, direct marketing strategies, promotion of local product labels, involvement with value-added opportunities, and other agriculture programs as identified. This position will utilize existing program resources and materials in program work, and will utilize a wide variety of delivery methods, including, but not limited to: one-on-one sessions, farm visits, and group workshops and presentations.
