The Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center, located at 748 State Route 183, between County Routes 69 and 13 near Williamstown, owned and operated by the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County 4-H Program, consists of 150 acres of mixed woods and wetlands, including Rowell Brook. Three miles of hiking trails guide visitors through ecosystems and are available to the public year-round from dawn until dusk.
The Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center promotes responsible stewardship of our environment.
As part of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County 4-H, the hands-on programs of the Center develops a greater appreciation, awareness, and understanding of the natural world and people’s role in it.
The Center is open year round, from dawn until dusk, for the public to enjoy. Special events and programs are also regularly scheduled to allow youth and adults interact more closely with mother nature.
