Nature at Night

As dusk settles, the woods and marsh come alive with beavers swimming, birds singing, and frogs calling. These are just a few of the incredible sights and sounds you might encounter as you take an enchanting walk along the trails to the pond.

This family-oriented adventure kicks off indoors with a brief educational session, setting the stage for an exciting outdoor stroll along scenic trails. The program is designed for nature lovers of all ages; anyone from individuals to families are encouraged to attend!

All youth must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.

Preregistration is requested.

Fee

Only $4 per person, or $12 for a family. Children under the age of three are free!

Philosophy

The best way to learn about ecology is to be out in it! Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center is a laboratory where youth and adults can observe nature first hand, alone or under the guidance of one of the Center’s Environmental Educators. Public programs often feature guest presenters who are recognized leaders in the fields of wildlife management, outdoor education, and botany. It is also the Center’s belief that learning should be fun.
