Now that it's spring and many animals and their young are emerging from their dens, what should you do if you find injured or orphaned wildlife? Learn firsthand about the rehabilitation process from a NYS DEC licensed wildlife rehabilitator in a safe and educational setting.
The Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center has invited Wendi from Whispering Woods Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation to share her experiences and knowledge. This special program will educate children and adults about the importance of wildlife conservation and animal care. And answer the question, "What do I do if I've found a baby wild animal?"
Registration is required for this program. The recommended age for these programs is 5+. All youth must be accompanied by an adult.
Please bring an item or two from the following list as Wendi's rehabilitation center runs entirely on donations:
Only $4 per person, or $12 for a family. Children under the age of three are free! Please bring a donation from the list above.
