Springtime Woods Walk

Join the educator for a magical journey through the woods. Witness the transformation of nature with buds bursting, flowers blooming, birds migrating, and amphibians calling. The springtime woods awaken with a burst of life, offering countless wonders to observe and enjoy.

This family-oriented adventure kicks off indoors with a brief educational session, setting the stage for an exciting outdoor stroll along scenic trails. The program is designed for nature lovers of all ages; anyone from individuals to families are encouraged to attend!

All youth must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.

Preregistration is requested.

Fee

Only $4 per person, or $12 for a family. Children under the age of three are free!

Philosophy

The best way to learn about ecology is to be out in it! Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center is a laboratory where youth and adults can observe nature first hand, alone or under the guidance of one of the Center’s Environmental Educators. Public programs often feature guest presenters who are recognized leaders in the fields of wildlife management, outdoor education, and botany. It is also the Center’s belief that learning should be fun.
