We will start this hands-on program with a book reading then jump right into learning! Frogs, newts, and salamanders are living, swimming and breeding in the various vernal pools, wetlands, and waterways located around the Center. Participants will be scientists for the day and will have the opportunity to use nets (and their hands!) to try and catch amphibians and make new discoveries.
Water-proof boots or shoes that can get wet and muddy are highly recommended. We ask you dress appropriately for the weather that day.
Only $4.00 per person up to $12.00 per family. Children under the age of three are free.
