This program, which is open to participants of all ages, will focus on wild turkeys. While their appearance makes them very distinctive, it consists of many features that help these birds survive.
This program will begin indoors before heading outside. Participants can volunteer to help dress up the educator as a turkey while learning the adaptations of this species. After that, a guided walk will ensue, with the hope of spotting these avian animals in action. Stops along the trail will reveal the myriad sounds and field marks of wild turkeys, along with their natural history.
Advanced registration is encouraged, as space is limited.
Just $4.00 per person, up to $12.00 per family
