Garden Matchmaker: Discover Which Plants Grow Best Together

  • Monday, April 27, 2026, 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM

Join Gail Hinman, Master Gardener Volunteer with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County to learn more about Food Friendships. This interactive workshop introduces families to the basics of companion planting.

Plants are like people. Some relationships flourish and others do not. Participants will explore how vegetables, herbs, and flowers can support each other through pest protection, nutrient sharing, and efficient use of garden space.

Through a fun matching activity and simple garden design exercise, families will learn how to plan a small garden using plant partnerships.
