Four H’s of the Holidays: Homemade, Healthy, Handy and Helpful

Oswego County 4-H will be offering a short term Sparks Club focused on the upcoming holidays. There will be three sessions in this series, held on Tuesday nights from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the Cooperative Extension Office in Mexico.

Each evening will focus on a different seasonal theme:

November 7th: Pumpkins: Braided Pumpkin Decorations
November 21st: December Holidays: Gnome Ornaments
December 12th: Winter: Terra Cotta Pot Snowmen

Children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade must be chaperoned by an adult in accordance with insurance regulations. Registration is limited to 8 youth as space is limited. A parent or legal guardian must attend the first session on Tuesday, November 7th to complete and sign additional enrollment paperwork.

Fee

$15 per youth, Oswego County 4-H members free

Why 4-H?

The purpose of 4-H is twofold:

To provide youth with fun hands-on educational experiences that will help them develop life skills such as confidence, leadership, cooperation, and responsibility.
To provide interested parents and other adults with the opportunity to grow through working with youth.
