Nature journaling has been credited as an "extremely effective and engaging way to teach observation, curiosity, and creative thinking." A wide variety of individuals use journals, such as poets and writers, engineers, and scientists. Join our environmental educator for an introduction into nature journaling, starting with why we nature journal, some journaling prompts to help you get started, and some of the different things you might sketch or write, such as wildlife, plants, or even mountains.
Please note: while many of our programs are designed for families and youth, this program will be aimed towards teens and adults. Youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.
Only $4.00 per person up to $12.00 per family. Children under the age of three are free.
