This workshop will provide training beyond beginner and intermediate stages. Attendees should have a working knowledge of and prior experience with home canning.
Guest instructor, Jan Smith, long-time Master Gardener for CCE Oswego County and certified in food preservation, will focus will specifically on pressure canning methods and practice. She will also discuss food safety, equipment and maintenance, and will also be doing a hands-on canning demonstration which will include carrots and green beans.
