In 4-H, the clover represents core values and 4-H’s commitment to helping young people grow into confident, capable leaders. The four leaves of the clover symbolize the four pillars of 4-H: Head, Heart, Hands, and Health. Those who are not familiar with 4-H recognize the four-leaf clover as a symbol of good luck. Why not combine good luck and the commitment to programming and hold a great program?
Join the educator for Luck of the Clover geocaching! This is an exciting geocaching program where participants go on an outdoor adventure to discover hidden caches somewhere at the Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center. Using GPS coordinates, participants will act as treasure hunters and search for the four lucky caches. It's a fun and engaging way to connect with the outdoors, test navigational skills, and experience the joy of discovery.
Participants are able to use their personal smartphone and the official Geocaching app or borrow a GPS unit from the Center for the duration of the program. The recommended age for this program is 7+. All youth must be accompanied by an adult.
Only $4 per person, or $12 for a family. Children under the age of three are free!
