During this program, participants will enjoy a guided moonlit hike through the Center's woods learning about all things winter, such as hibernation, nocturnal animals, winter plants, and more. Participants should bring flashlights or headlamps if desired and are encouraged to dress warmly and in layers. We will plan to snowshoe for our hike, so outdoor footwear or winter boots that can be strapped into a snowshoe should be worn. If there is a lack of snow, we will walk the nature trail on foot while learning about winter ecology. Feel free to bring your own snowshoes or borrow ours - there is no additional fee to use the facility's snowshoes.
Only $4.00 per person up to $12.00 per family. Children under the age of three are free.
