Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County (CCE Oswego) will be holding a free outdoor vegetable garden workshop for beginners, sponsored by the CCE Oswego Master Gardener Volunteer Program. Early spring is a perfect time to learn the basics of vegetable gardening!
Guest speaker, Karen Goodwin, Master Gardener for CCE Oswego County, will take attendees on a tour of her vegetable garden, discussing soil preparation, weed management, tools, seeding and transplanting, raised beds, vertical gardening, and pest control. There will be plenty of time for questions and printouts will be made available.
Parking is limited to 15 cars, therefore registration is required to attend this outdoor educational program, and availability is on a first come, first served basis. Once you register online you will receive an email confirmation providing the address location of where the event will be held.
This event is free, but registration is required.
