Beginner Vermicomposting Workshop

Join Jean Bonhotal from Cornell Waste Management Institute and the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences for a beginner vermicomposting workshop at the Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center! 

Vermicomposting is a composting process that relies on worms turning food waste into nutrient-rich organic fertilizer. Jean will go into detail regarding her work and experience with composting, which exceeds 25 years. 

Each family that participates will receive a 5-gallon bucket, worms, and bedding to begin their own bucket composting at home. 

Registration is required as space is limited.

Fee

Only $4.00 per person with a family rate of $12.00. Children under the age of three are free!
