Come learn about and celebrate the Autumnal Equinox at the Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center!
The environmental educator will discuss how the equinox happens and what can be expected in nature during this season, like shorter days, temperatures dropping or wildlife preparing for winter by stocking food. The group will then head out on a guided hike through the woods to look for signs of fall. We may see leaves beginning to change color or geese starting their migration south.
Boots, sneakers, or closed-toe shoes are recommended, and we ask you please dress accordingly for the weather on the day of the program.
Only $4.00 per person up to $12.00 per family. Children under the age of three are free.
