  • Saturday, March 9, 2024, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

The Oswego County 4-H Program will be presenting another short-term Sparks Club for local youth aged 8 to 18. A ‘Sparks Club’ is a short, 2-4 session club that will introduce youth to the 4-H program and the curriculum developed by 4-H educators. Youth will be enrolled as a 4-H independent member for the 2023-2024 year after completing this club.

Sparks – STEM Projects is a science-based 4-H club, meeting twice at the Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center; Saturday, March 2nd and Saturday, March 9th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Youth will be working on projects that will help expand their critical thinking skills, creativity, and curiosity. Participants will be building and working on their own engineering designs based on projects outlined in the program, such as building a bridge from common household items.

Sparks - STEM Projects is available to any Oswego County youth aged 8-18. Registration is required as space is limited. Please register by February 29th at the latest. An adult must attend the first session on March 2nd, if the youth is not currently enrolled in the Oswego County 4-H Program.

Fee

The fee to participate is $15 per youth.
