Join our natural resources educator as we explore the world of STEM/STEAM! STEM encourages innovation, creativity, critical thinking, problem solving and other beneficial skills for our youth. STEAM incorporates imagination and creativity through art in ways that align with STEM. At the Center, we're always learning about science and nature, but this program will have different activities we'll do together to spark that interest in the sciences!

Fee

Only $4.00 per person up to $12.00 per family. Children under the age of three are free.

Find a Google map here, or...

From Parish:

  1. Take County Route 69 East for 9 miles in to Amboy Center.
  2. Turn left onto State Route 183. Go north for 4 miles; entrance is on the right.

From Pulaski:

  1. Take County Route 13 South to Williamstown.
  2. Turn right on to State Route 183.The entrance will be on the left after 1 mile.

From Camden:

  1. Take County Route 13 North to Williamstown.
  2. Turn left onto State Route 183.The entrance will be on the left after 1 mile.

From Oswego:

  1. Take State Route 104 East until it ends at the junction of County Route 13.
  2. Turn right on to County Route 13. Follow instructions “From Pulaski.”

From Syracuse:

  1. Take I-81 North to Parish; exit 33 (County Route 69).
  2. Follow instructions “ From Parish.”

Philosophy

The best way to learn about ecology is to be out in it! Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center is a laboratory where youth and adults can observe nature first hand, alone or under the guidance of one of the Center’s Environmental Educators. Public programs often feature guest presenters who are recognized leaders in the fields of wildlife management, outdoor education, and botany. It is also the Center’s belief that learning should be fun.
