Have you ever wondered what amphibians might be living in your backyards in Oswego County? Come celebrate Herpepalooza! with our environmental educators and find out!
They will be discussing herpetology, or the study of amphibians. Then they will lead participants around the nature center looking for native frogs, toads, salamanders, and newts (oh my!). Now that its springtime, these amphibians are living, swimming, and breeding in the various vernal pools, wetlands, and waterways located around the environmental education center. Participants will have the opportunity to be scientists for the day making new discoveries and having hands-on experiences!
Only $4.00 per person up to $12.00 per family. Children under the age of three are free.
