A mid-May, Sunday morning calls for an adventure! Join environmental educators for an outdoor Forest Safari! We will discuss the variety of animals (beaver, waterfowl, amphibians, insects, and more) that use the property, and how and why they determine it suitable habitat before going out and possibly spotting those animals, just like a real safari!
Participants will be walking the Beaver Marsh Trail, looking and listening for signs of animals living at or visiting the nature center. We will have binoculars available to borrow, but you are welcome to bring your own. We recommend boots or shoes that can get wet or muddy as we will go outside even if it is raining. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
$4.00 per person up to $12.00 per family. Children under the age of 3 are free.
