DESCRIPTION:This workshop will provide an overview of herb
 gardening for homeowners and backyard gardeners.Julia Kinsey, Master Gardener Volunteer for CCE
 Oswego, will discuss the benefits of growing your own herbs and how easy it is
 to get started. She will highlight common herbs that are popular to grow, as
 well as less well-known herbs that are fun and worth considering. She will also
 touch on herbs ideal for indoors and outdoors. Afterwards, Hubert Parrow, fellow
 Master Gardener Volunteer, will provide a tour of the Schneider Shineman
 Community Garden. He will discuss how the community garden got started, and how
 attendees can get involved if interested. There will be plenty of time for
 questions.This
 program is sponsored by the CCE Oswego Master Gardener Volunteer Program in
 partnership with the Schneider Shineman Community Garden.
