Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County teaches several programs and lessons to help families and households to stretch their food dollars, make healthier choices, and eat better for less.

The SNAP-Ed Program offers free or low-cost educational workshops, applied research projects, and lots of useful information on food-related topics from food safety and nutrition to healthy eating on a limited budget. 

The Eat Smart New York! Program helps individuals and families who have limited resources to gain the knowledge and skills to make healthier food and activity choices.
