Amboy's Winter Mammals

  • Tuesday, December 28, 2021, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

How do the wild animals at Amboy survive in winter? Come find out at this family-oriented guided nature hike. Learn which animals hibernate and which ones don’t -- and what’s torpor anyway? Discover the answers on Tuesday, December 28th at 1:00 p.m.!

Snowshoes will be available at outdoor programs if there is sufficient snow. Please be sure to dress warmly and in layers. Also outdoor footwear that can be strapped into a snowshoe should be worn -- sneakers and fashion boots with heels do not fit into the straps and will make walking difficult.

Fee

The program fee is only $4.00 per person up to $12.00 per family. Children under the age of 3 are free.
