Insects are in the cracks of the sidewalk, underneath and inside logs in the woods, and even in our houses. They are everywhere! Insects are the most abundant class of animals in the world. They can be the most destructive, as well as the most productive. This program will introduce attendees to the insects. Hands-on activities will show participants why these animals are so successful.

Pre-registration is required. Please visit https://reg.cce.cornell.edu/InsectaganzaAmboy4-HEEC-2_235 to register. If you need assistance or more information, please contact Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County at 315-963-7286.

These programs are designed for families; however, individuals may attend. Pre-registration for all programs is required. Fully vaccinated individuals are not required to wear a mask, consistent with the New York State’s implementation of the recent CDC guidance. However, vaccinated individuals may choose to wear masks (or other acceptable face covering) and maintain social distancing at their own discretion. Unvaccinated individuals are required to wear a mask (or other acceptable face covering) indoors and when six feet of social distancing is not possible outdoors, consistent with the New York State’s implementation of the recent CDC guidance. Participants are still required to sign Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Assumption of the Risk and Waiver of Liability Relating to Covid-19 prior to attending the program.
