7. Cranberry Ridge Farm

Originally from Wasilla, Alaska, this small farm relocated to Oswego County in 2009. They milk goats and sheep and produce aged hard European style cheeses; lamb and goat meat; wool for hand-spinning and felting; as well as tanned lamb and goat skins. Additionally they raise garlic and vegetables using organic practices. Call ahead for a farm tour and to place an order.

8. Heritage Hill Farm

The Rudd family has owned and operated this farm since 1936. This Dairy of Distinction has a milking herd of 78 pastured cattle. Maple syrup is produced on the farm and they recently began producing artisan cheese. Maple syrup is available year round, please call ahead. No Sunday sales.

Established in 2009, this primarily alpaca farm also raises chickens for eggs and meat without the use of hormones or antibiotics. They sell products made from their all-natural alpaca fleece as well as the animals themselves (financing available). Products are available online and all major credit cards are accepted. Located on 57 beautiful acres they love to have visitors and share their experiences. Farm tours including feeding and petting an alpaca are available as well as spinning demonstrations.
