Participate in the Oswego County Fair 2021 4-H Remix!

Oswego County Fair 2021 4-H Remix

2021 was another year of learning and adapting. Oswego County youth work hard all year to prepare for the Oswego County Fair and other competitions to show their livestock and special projects. After the fair's cancelation for a second year was announced, Oswego County 4-H put plans in place for the second Oswego County Fair 4-H Remix.

The County Fair 4-H Remix gave youth the chance to showcase their skills and knowledge learned through 4-H, school, scouts, or other activities during the previous year. ALL Oswego County youth between the ages of five and 18 were eligible to participate! They did not have to be a 4-H member! Oswego County 4-H wanted them ALL to be recognized for their work and have the fun of participating.

On August 8th, the Oswego County 4-H staff wrapped everything up with the Grand Finale at the fairgrounds. Youth and families had participated in different contests, displays and showings for their chance to demonstrate the skills they learned this 4-H year. Youth were able to enter static displays and livestock. The youth who entered their livestock talked about and showed their animals, displaying what they have been working on. From Nailed It/Failed It to static displays to livestock, participants were able to show some great projects this year. The Oswego County staff wants to thank everyone who entered something into the remix this year. Here are some highlights:
